For you and your baby

In my current Interaction Design thesis project, Hearts, I address cardiovascular diseases in pregnancy, the leading cause of maternal mortality in the United States, with a focus on the higher risk faced by African American women. Hearts serves as a bridge between medical and personal aspects of pregnancy and heart disease, drawing inspiration from doulas for continuous physical, emotional, and informational support. The application empowers women to schedule and track doctor appointments, monitor their blood pressure and symptoms, explore medical information related to their conditions, visualize their health scans, and create medical reports for healthcare appointments. This comprehensive mobile application aims to provide these women with the tools and support they need to navigate pregnancy and heart health with confidence and autonomy.
