Role: Designer
In the Summer of 2022, I worked at GE HealthCare as a UX Design intern. During my time there, I co-built Design Futures, a program initiated to strategize the long-term design direction for customer digital experience.
At the end of the summer, my experience culminated in being selected as the recipient of the GE Healthcare Women in Digital Technology Future Leader Scholarship for the US region. This award is given to 1 female per GEHC's 5 internship regions (US, India, LATAM, EMEA, China) and aims to "empower talented female college interns to pursue higher education and their passion for technology... This scholarship will be awarded to female students who exhibit strong academic records, high intern work performance, leadership qualities through extracurriculars or community involvement, and express an interest in pursuing a technology or business-related career."
Along with designer Ivo Gasparotto, I led the Design Futures workshop series, uniting GEHC’s UX designers, company leaders, and external stakeholders to innovate and position GEHC at the forefront of future technology. The series led to the completion of a Strategy Map, outlining future goals and opportunity spaces for customer engagement. Other internship concentrations included enhancing the UX of customer account registration and actively participating in customer research sessions.

The Design Futures Booklet
I designed this analog booklet — an important component for inspiration and ideation activities. The booklet has been and will continue to be used by participants across the globe.
Design Note: In the typographic art/branding throughout the book, I intended to abstract words and concepts from their template standard versions while still being mindful of legibility and recognizability. This concept of abstraction aligns with the workshop's intention of pushing participants to envision possible avant-garde goals and opportunities for GEHC's CDx.
